David Brodtman

David is a member of the UKCP and British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, with over 30 years’ experience of supporting people in distress. He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regents College, London.

Although able to support people in any number of situations, he has particular experience in supporting people affected by; physical disability, health issues, terminal illness or life-shortening conditions, stress, depression, bereavement and loss, family and relationship problems, work -related difficulties, personal growth and development, sexual concerns and sexuality.

Humanistic and integrative psychotherapy includes different psychotherapies, which approach the individual as a whole person including body, feelings, mind and spirit. The integrative therapeutic experience leads towards a greater tolerance of life’s experiences and an increase of creativity and service.

For example when thinking strategically or being creative, focusing on the wider picture means we gather a larger amount of data with which to shape our thoughts and intuitions. In this mode we connect different ideas and concepts, identify patterns and generally experience a flow of thoughts, feelings and ideas.
