The clinic offers weekday, evening and some weekend appointments. At Psymplicity Healthcare, client care is our first priority, and we aim to make our service as accessible as possible. With this in mind, we make every effort to offer new assessment appointments within 24 – 48 hours if this is requested, and can arrange free urgent telephone consultations for advice.
Our clinic telephone lines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A member of our executive team is on call at all times, and very urgent calls can be put through to them overnight and at the weekend if necessary, via 0207 118 0407.
Referrals are accepted from GPs, mental healthcare professionals and therapists as well as self referring patients and visiting foreign nationals. Our medical team is happy to provide free scheduled telephone advice to referrers.
After booking you are assigned a care coordinator, a fully qualified therapist who has overall responsibility for your therapeutic treatment package. They will be able to give you additional in-depth advice if you are not sure about what therapeutic approach suits you best. They will be available throughout your treatment in order to answer any questions, resolve any issues and communicate with you regularly to ensure that you are satisfied with the service provided or to make any adjustments.
In the first session your consultant will carry out an assessment. This is simply a conversation to find out more about you and your reasons for seeking treatment. It is your chance to give as much relevant information about your past and present situation for your practitioner to have a fuller understanding of your issue. You can also ask them about their professional background and approach. In this conversation the two of you come to a decision together on which themes to focus on in subsequent sessions. You will also agree on an initial time frame within which to work.
